Anna completed a conjoint degree in Law and Arts (with a major in History) at the University of Auckland. After graduating she was admitted to the bar the following year at the Auckland High Court.
Before joining Denham Bramwell, Anna previously worked for a corporate law firm in Auckland CBD, and later an established barrister in South Auckland. She practiced a range of work including civil litigation, criminal, family, tribunal and immigration work. After a stint as the business manager for a performing arts organisation, Anna returned to law. She now works with Peter Webb, primarily focusing on civil litigation and employment matters.
“We are a medium sized firm in Manukau and there are many small businesses and owner-operators in this area.
These employers often have questions around contractual or employment disputes.
That’s what I love, working with people and helping them with my expertise.”
Anna enjoys working in Manukau and feels Denham Bramwell represents its diverse community well. Anna believes Denham Bramwell has a true point of difference – we have the systems and support staff of a large firm but with the personal touch of a smaller organisation.
The legal system can be confusing for clients. Anna can help clients navigate the system in the best possible way. Anna’s favourite aspect of what she does is putting forward an argument and advocating for her clients.
Anna enjoys eating out and family life especially since the addition of her daughter Madeleine.
