Brett is a partner at Denham Bramwell and leads the Property and Commercial Law team working with both private and business clients in the areas of subdivisions, conveyancing, commercial law, business law, Trusts, Wills, estate administration, and asset protection.
Graduating with an LLb, Brett brings more than 40 years’ experience to the Denham Bramwell team and applies his significant negotiating and legal experience in a straightforward way to facilitate transactions and obtain commercially viable results for his clients. Brett’s extensive law expertise, combined with his notable track record of successful business transactions, enables him to assist clients implement large and often complex projects.
He is responsive, experienced and pays special attention to providing his clients with regular communication. There’s not much that Brett hasn’t seen or dealt with, even in the context of a rapidly changing local environment. The ongoing changes in property development and ownership have resulted in a raft of new challenges and obstacles, but Brett’s extensive experience and interest in property matters, including sub-divisions, design and build projects, and large enterprise structures, means that he will work with you to help you achieve the goals you have set.
Brett has helped people work through some fairly tricky situations – he’s stuck by his clients through the good times and bad, making sure that what could’ve been a terrible outcome has ended up to be an outcome that is fair and reasonable.
Although being a partner of a law firm commands a lot of Brett’s time, he still enjoys a good game of Bridge, skiing, surfing or golf when he can, or he can be found on the side-lines supporting his boys playing rugby. Within the community, Brett is proud to be the past president and current director of the Manukau Rotary Club and is actively involved in the Auckland Communities Foundation as solicitor for the foundation and as having been a past trustee. Brett is a past Trustee for Wymondley School and past coach/club captain for Auckland Grammar Junior Rugby Club.
