After a short stint in the city, Petrina has returned to South Auckland where she first began practicing family law and developed a passion for the area. Petrina considers it a real privilege to be able to assist clients in what are often the most stressful times of their lives. With this in mind, Petrina’s objective with every matter is to provide advice that is pragmatic, cost-effective, and that best meets the individual needs of each client in such a manner that is professional, respectful and timely.
Petrina is a proud Samoan, born and bred in Auckland. Under the encouragement of her late father, Petrina studied law and arts at the University of Auckland without any clear direction as to what area of law she wanted to practice in. Petrina then began her legal career working in general litigation for a large firm before stumbling upon family law. It did not take long for her to realise that family law was the area for her. Petrina worked for a barrister in Manukau and then returned to a firm environment in the city. It was always Petrina’s intention to return to South Auckland however as it is an area of significance to her.
Petrina has recently become a mum so spends most of her free time doting on her daughter. She is also a massive foodie so loves all things food, particularly when combined with family and close friends!
