Sanne graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Laws with first class Honours and a Bachelor of Arts (majoring in psychology) in 2017. She joined the family law team at Denham Bramwell after working at a large Auckland City corporate/commercial law firm where she specialised in mergers and acquisitions.
Sanne’s passion for family law began at university when she focussed her Law Honours dissertation on how children are impacted by the division of relationship property. She has also spent time working as a family law research assistant for the University of Otago, a law clerk at an Auckland family law firm, as well as a volunteer at the Auckland Community Law Centre where she dealt with a range of family law matters.
Sanne’s diverse legal background, coupled with her interpersonal skills and pragmatic reasoning, helps her achieve practical outcomes that meet her client’s needs. Sanne understands the sensitive and emotional nature of family law matters and will engage her clients every step along the way to discuss the various options available.
